The Kukka cup is a more rustic and raw version of our Nordic wooden mugs. Hand-carved in Finnish Lapland, it is made from solid birch wood – a simpler material than the birch burl traditionally used for kuksa.
Less refined and more abrupt in shape, the Kukka stands out for its authenticity and character. It’s a wooden cup with no frills, made for everyday use – whether outdoors or at home. Treated with saltwater and coffee, it gains a warm brown tone and enhanced durability.
With a capacity of around 20 cl and a reindeer leather strap tied to the handle, the Kukka is our most straightforward cup: sturdy, honest, and focused on the essentials.

The cup may have experienced temperature changes during shipping. Let it return to room temperature before pouring in hot liquids. For extra care, rinse it with lukewarm (not hot) water before use.

Yes! If you prefer a cup that hasn’t been treated with coffee, just ask us. Some models – like the Kuukkeli kuksa – are made without coffee.

Wash it before the first use. Always use lukewarm water and a natural soap free from chemicals. After washing, dry immediately with a cloth. Never let it air dry as the wood will absorb moisture.

To keep the wood in good condition and preserve its shine, treat it regularly with oil (we recommend grape seed oil) or a protective wax. Both are available in our shop – the wax is handmade.

It’s perfect for enjoying hot or cold drinks. The wood naturally helps keep your drink warm or fresh. Lightweight and ideal for outdoor adventures.

No! None of our wooden products are microwave-safe. Microwave heat will damage the wood and cause it to crack.
